Sacramento, CA – In the Arms of Grace Hospice President, Kevin Tutunjian, is appointed to the Board of Directors of the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association (CHAPCA) as of February 13, 2024.

As the executive leader of the community-based hospice organization that has served the communities of Los Angeles and Orange Counties for over a decade, Tutunjian joins over a dozen other healthcare executives from hospice and palliative care organizations across the state of California.

“I am honored to join this group of illustrious colleagues, some of whom I consider mentors. I’ve had the privilege of serving as CHAPCA’s Education Committee Chairperson for the past four years, and in this new role, I hope to advocate on behalf of providers and families to enhance CHAPCA’s mission to promote the value of quality end-of-life care.”, said Tutunjian.

CHAPCA is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to improve access to quality end-of-life care and educate patients, families, the community, and healthcare professionals about hospice and palliative care. Founded in 1986, it is the state’s largest association representing the spectrum of hospice and palliative care providers, and endeavors to support and promote the delivery of services to individuals and families with serious, life limiting illness. CHAPCA is governed by the Board of Directors, which consists of eleven to fifteen members elected at large, who serve three-year terms.
