Bereavement Services

We believe that a loved one’s final months of life shouldn’t be the darkest — not for the patient, and not for their families. Loss is hard. But with the right help, your family can gain peace and closure in the face of your loved one’s passing.

Guiding families toward peace

Our bereavement services work to help the patient’s family and loved ones cope with their grief. For patients, their death is the end. But for those they leave behind, it’s the start of a journey, of learning to reach a place of peace in their life after loss.

We offer bereavement services as part of your hospice benefit, so they cost you nothing.

  • Individual and group grief support
  • Grief and loss education
  • Counselors and professionals
  • Access to grief support groups

These services start from the moment your loved one enters hospice care and last over a year after the patient’s death.

Bereavement Support Group

We team up with facility partners to host support groups that are led by bereavement counselors. These classes offer attendees a communal experience that gives them access to a community of support.

As a way of giving back to our communities, we open these classes free of charge to the wider community, not just our families.
