Songs of the Season: Carolers Bring Cheer to Our Residents

December 23, 2025
Los Angeles, CA

The halls of In the Arms of Grace Hospice were filled with song today as carolers visited our facility partners to share music, joy, and a little holiday spirit with patient residents and staff alike. It was heartwarming to see smiles on residents’ faces, many of whom sang and danced along. For a few moments, the usual rhythm of the hospice slowed down for something softer — connection through music.

For many residents, the holidays can be difficult. The season often brings memories of years past and reflections on mortality. For those without family nearby, it can feel especially lonely. That’s why gestures like these matter so deeply. The carolers offered a reminder that no one here is forgotten. Each life continues to be seen and celebrated at In the Arms of Grace.

For our team members, watching patients light up during this visit underscores our greater purpose. Hospice care is about more than medical comfort. It’s emotional care. It’s social care. It’s extending dignity, respect, and love through every season of life.

As we close the book on another year, we carry that mission forward with pride. Earlier this year, In the Arms of Grace Hospice earned deemed status from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) — a perfect review with zero findings. This achievement speaks to the quality and commitment of our entire team. We look forward to more progress, to finding innovative ways to extend care and grace to our patients and families.
